Dr. Bruce Tippit has been the pastor of FBC Jonesboro since June 23, 1996. He is a graduate of OBU (BA 1976) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Masters of Divinity 1979 and Doctor of Ministry 1987). He has pastored churches in Arkansas and Texas for last 18 years. He most recently pastored the Fianna Hills Baptist Church in Fort Smith for 10 years
Dr. Tippit is committed to Bible-centered preaching. He uses verse by verse, biographical survey, topical and doctrinal message to help Christians deal practically with everyday life.
You may hear our pastor at the weekly Sunday services 8:30, 11:00 and 6:00 p.m. He also teaches a Wednesday evening Bible study at 6:15 in the chapel. Our 11:00 Sunday service is broadcast each Sunday on KAIT Channel 8 (cable channel 9) and rebroadcast on TCA cable 14 at 8:30 p.m. each Monday.
