A native of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Todd attended college here in Jonesboro at ASU. Upon receiving his degree in English Education, Todd spent a year at Arkansas Tech University as the Assistant Director of the Baptist Student Union. From there he traveled to Fort Worth, Texas, to attend Southwestern Seminary before coming back to Jonesboro as University Minister at First Baptist.

Todd spent five summers working for Centrifuge youth camps where he was a Bible Study leader, recreation director, and camp director. It was at Centrifuge in Jackson, TN that Todd met his wife Elizabeth. Elizabeth is a native of Bowling Green, KY. She and Todd were married May 16, 1998 here at First Baptist. They are the parents of two sons and one daughter.

In the summer of 2006, after 9 years as University Minister, Todd made the transition to Youth Minister--where his ministry is now focused on students in grades 7 through 12.
